No Results Yet

Results for the Lumbar Puncture were not back by the end of the day. As soon as we know something tomorrow I will try to post or have Nikki post - as tomorrow is our MRI. We have to be to Childrens Mercy South at 7am. Her MRI is at 8am and lasts 2-3 hours. We are hoping to be out of there by noon but without any results for the MRI. Once again we hope to have these at the end of the day, however seeing how fast the move over at CMH -- more than likely it will be Thursday before we know anything. Then on Thursday at 10 am we are to go in for her admin check up (they check her out and ok her for chemo). 5 days in patient....in case anyone is bored this weekend -- 4th floor Henson is the plan. FYI : Both Avery and I like Starbucks Iced Chai Teas with Soy milk and vanilla....Just saying....this little girl will suck it down -- I have to pour some into her sippy cup to get her to slow down and share!

  1. you guys are in our thoughts and prayers! we know this moster so very well. my son was dx with Medullo, as a 5 yr old, back in sept 07. he was n.e.d. from feb 08 until this past 4th of july weekend. his medullo is not in his brain or spine, this time. it's in his soft tissue, lymph nodes and soft tissue. he was at st jude, for a while, until they told us to take him to die. there is no research, no cure, and they thought he would be gone before november came. st jude also said he'd very likely not walk again. well, it's almost december, and he's here, and doing much better than anyone could possibly had thought. my son is even walking and running again. doctors can give their best medical guess, but it is all up to God how our babies will do.
