Hi Jenn & Jeremy! My name is Wendy Lambert & I'm from West Des Moines...I was sent your site from a friend who is a neighbor of a friend of yours (I think!!!). We are from West Des Moines, are HUGE Iowa State fans, and also have a daughter with cancer. Elise (who is 5 now) was diagnosed with a DIPG malignant brainstem tumor in March 2010 & was treated at St. Jude in Memphis this summer. We were able to biopsy her tumor & it's a slower-growing tumor than the DIPG but is still a malignant brainstem glioma. I'd love to visit sometime if you're up for it or maybe even meet if we're in Memphis at the same time (we go back down Nov 14-17th for scans).
